5. Brushing and tongue scraping:

This ensures that the teeth get clean and strong. Mouth odour and distaste in mouth is destroyed. The tongue remains clean and free from filth due to which the taste perception gets healthy.

6. Mukhadi dhavana or face wash:

Wash the mouth and eyes with water. This removes excessive oil from the face. Acne, freckles get cleared, face becomes radiant. Eyesight improves .

7. Anjana or eye wash:

Vision gets cleared. Eyes become beautiful and attractive. Eyesight increases and becomes free from diseases.

8. Nasya:

Putting 2-3 drops of warm and further cooled mustard or sesame oil in the nostrils every morning protects from the diseases of the head, eyes and nose. Your eyesight increases, hair becomes long, dense and black. It prevents premature hair fall and greying.

9. Abhyanga:

Ayurveda recommends that oil massage should be done on the body before bath. It makes the skin radiant, disease free. It increases blood circulation in the skin. Toxic substances come out of the body in the form of sweat and the skin gets wrinkle-free.

Surya Namaskar, aerobics, yoga or other daily exercise increases physical strength and immunity. All the channels of the body get cleared, blood circulation increases and the waste material is removed from the body. Excess fat is reduced.

11. Kshauar karma

Shaving or trimming Beard and moustache, Getting haircut and trimming nails on regular intervals is advised to maintain cleanliness and happiness. It minimizes infections occurring due to nails.

12. Udvartana (Ubtan):

According to Ayurveda, applying paste or rubbing of aromatic herbs, can help remove body odour. There is joy and energy in the mind. Ubtan removes extra fat from the body. The parts of the body become stable and firm. The skin becomes soft. It avoids skin conditions like acne and freckles.

13. Bathing:

Bath is essential for daily health. Bathing removes all kinds of impurities from the body. This leads to deep sleep, removes excess heat from the body, odour, sweating, itching and thirst. A bath also activates all the sense organs of the body. Blood is purified and appetite increases.

Wearing clean and comfortable clothes increases beauty, happiness and builds up confidence.

15. Avoid direct sun, dust:

Direct sun rays should be avoided. Due to excessive exposure of the skin to the direct sun rays, various disorders like irritation and sunburn can occur. So, you are recommended to use an umbrella or scarf for protection.

16. Sleep:

In all seasons except summer, 6-8 hours of sleep is necessary at night. In summer, one should take rest for 1-2 hours during the day as well as at night, because the excessive heat causes loss of water and energy in the body. That is refueled by a nap during the day. By taking proper sleep, physical and mental fatigue is removed, and the process of digestion is improved, thereby infusing new energy in the body.
