An epitome of reverse ageing in Bollywood, Sushmita Sen is a fitness enthusiast. Sushmita keeps sharing glimpses of her fitness routine on her Instagram profile to motivate her fans to take up workouts seriously. But, due to her health issues and a recent surgery, Sushmita was on a hiatus from workout. The Aarya actor’s health was not permitting it and she had to stay away from the workout arena.

However, she has resumed working out as she made an announcement on social media. Sharing a picture of herself showing off her pumped-up back muscles, Sushmita wrote, “ “I miss her! Haven’t trained for over 6 months now – first I wasn’t well enough, then came the surgery! Been counting days to hit the 6 weeks mark post-surgery to finally return to a discipline I love! Come December 30, I break inertia with day 1 of training.”

Keeping her promise, the gorgeous actress is back to her intense workout routine. She shared a picture of herself from the back, dressed in a black sports bra and a black pair of gym trousers. 2. Ameesha Patel

Ameesha patel shares snippets of her high intensity workout routine and yoga with her followers. But the actress had to pull the brakes on her fitness regime for 40 days. After a long gap, the Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai actor shared two videos documenting her return to the gym.

Squats are what broke the actress’ break from workouts. In the video shared by Ameesha, she can be seen lifting weights with both hands and simultaneously doing squats under the guidance of her fitness trainer. “Been 40 days away from training, and the first thing I come back to is squats,” wrote Ameesha.

3. Gul Panag

Fresh as a mint, Gul Panag always keeps her fans engrossed with her fitness videos during regular days and even on her trips. Setting the fitness bar higher, the Dor actress shared a short video documenting her morning running routine with a cute fitness partner. The actor’s son Nihal was seen cycling along with a cute backpack on his shoulders trying to catch up with his mother. Gul, dressed in a red athleisure set, can be seen running on one side of the road.

Serving the necessary dollop of fitness motivation, the curly-haired beauty Sanya Malhotra can be seen upping her fitness game in her latest video. Sanya took to Instagram to share a motivational video of herself strength training with dumbbells.

The video was reposted by Sanya but was originally shared by her fitness trainer, Tridev Pandey on his Instagram stories. Looking cute as a button in a soft pink cropped top and a red pair of gym shorts, Sanya can be seen working out in an outdoor setup.

The Dangal actress can be seen holding the dumbbells in her both hands and moving them near to her chest and then above her head and then bringing them down in stages. She can be seen doing this motion on repeat.

5. Tahira Kashyap Khurrana

Tahira, who is married to Ayushmann Khurrana, took to her Instagram handle to announce her concord with fitness. Calling commitment and consistency the key to her motivation, she captioned the post, “ I showed up”. As interesting as it sounds, the actress shared a video talking to her fans about ‘showing up’ to workout as the first step towards achieving fitness goals.

The author and filmmaker followed up enthusiastically on her fitness journey after announcing her return. She was seen practicing high intensity workouts but only after devouring a plate full of sabudana tikkis. “I showed up!! Working out but not giving up on food this time!
