This avocado face mask by Alaya F is perfect for winter skincare

Health, according to the World Health Organization, is “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity”.[1] A variety of definitions have been used for different purposes over time. Health can be promoted by encouraging healthful activities, such as regular physical exercise and adequate sleep,[2] and by reducing or avoiding unhealthful activities or situations, such as smoking or excessive stress. Some factors affecting health are due to individual choices, such as whether to engage in a high-risk behavior, while others are due to structural causes, such as whether the society is arranged in a way that makes it easier or harder for people to get necessary healthcare services. Still other factors are beyond both individual and group choices, such as genetic disorders.

    Now Read Carefully details

If your winter skin is angry with you, this Alaya F approved DIY avocado mask recipe is worth adding to your skin care routine.

If there is one skincare ingredient we have seen everywhere on social media, it has to be avocado. This plump, green coloured fruit is a powerhouse of nutrients. Avocados contain vital minerals such as calcium, iron, copper, potassium, magnesium and other vitamins that provide your body with extensive benefits. Its hydrating qualities have earned it a reputation for a great skincare addition.

And, there is nothing quite like selecting your own skin-loving ingredients and making a DIY face mask. While this mask has been an all time-favourite for your celebs, Alaya F is another devotee of it.

The young and vivacious actress always has that ‘right out of the shower’ glow on her face. And recently, she took to her Instagram handle to reveal the secret behind it. One of the things she does for her gorgeous skin and hair game is mash some avocados!

Calling it her favorite DIY hair and face mask, Alaya is seen adding some honey, yogurt and olive oil for an added antibacterial and gently exfoliating kick.

Here’s how she made her own Avocado mask:

    1. Cut and peel the avocado.
    2. Add avocado cubes to a mixing bowl.
    3. Pour a tbsp of honey on it.
    4. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil.
    5. Add a tbsp of yogurt.
    6. Using a spoon, mix and mash the avocado into a creamy mask.

Turning on her front camera, Alaya applied a thin layer of the gooey avocado mix to her face using both her hands.

Want to see it yourself? Take a look:

Blessed with the genes of her mom, actress Pooja Bedi, Alaya was last seen on screen in her debut film ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’. From DIYs to fitness, Alaya F shares some amazing content on her social media feed for her followers.

Before you begin to whip away your own avocado mask, here are a few benefits you can reap out of it:

    1. Treat sensitive, dry and flaky skin
    2. Hydrate your skin’s barrier
    3. Exfoliate dead skin away and unveil a smooth appearance
    4. Enhance skin elasticity
    5. Reverse effects of aging

If you’re looking for variations in this facial mask, you can concoct your own personal recipes. When you’ve applied one half of the avocado on your face, make some guacamole from the other half. Like a ‘serial chiller’, put on your favorite show, pull out some nachos and enjoy some self love!
